Radio wave propagation characteristics and analysis software in troposphere based on split step wavelet method

In order to meet the needs of tropospheric wireless communication system design and optimization, based on parabolic wave equation and Split Step Wavelet Method (SSWM), the tropospheric radio wave propagation characteristics were studied, and the wave propagation characteristic analysis software was developed. Fristly,a method for analyzing the tropospheric propagation characteristics based on split step wavelet method was presented by establishing a computation scene of numerical solution. Then, the tropospheric radio wave propagation characteristics analysis software was developed based on the proposed analysis method and Matlab.The numerical results show that the convergence of the proposed SSWM is better than that of Split Step Fourier Method (SSFM); tropospheric propagation loss is closely related to antenna height and elevation:the smaller the antenna elevation angle, the smaller the propagation loss; the larger the antenna height, the smaller the propagation loss; the propagation loss in an evaporation duct environment is smaller than that in the standard atmospheric environment. In addition, the developed analysis software has a user-friendly graphical user interface and is simple and flexible to operate.

Combining topic similarity with link weight for Web spam ranking detection

Focused on the issue that good-to-bad links in the Web degrade the detection performance of ranking algorithms (e.g. Anti-TrustRank), a distrust ranking algorithm—Topic Link Distrust Rank (TLDR) by combining topic similarity with link weight to adjust the propagation was proposed. Firstly, the topic distribution of all the pages was gotten by Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), and the topic similarity of linked pages was computed. Secondly, link weight was computed according to the Web graph, and was combined with topic similarity to achieve the topic-link weight matrix. Then, the Anti-TrustRank and Weighted Anti-TrustRank (WATR) algorithm were improved by measuring the distrust scores correctly based on the topic and link weight. Finally, all the pages were ranked according to their distrust scores, and spam pages were detected by taking a threshold. The experiment results on the dataset WEBSPAM-UK2007 show that, compared with Anti-TrustRank and WATR, SpamFactor of TLDR is raised by 45% and 23.7%, F1-measure (threshold was 600) is improved by 3.4 percentage points and 0.5 percentage points, and spam ration(top 3 of the buckets) is increased by 15 percentage points and 10 percentage points, respectively.

Palm-dorsal vein recognition based on uniform discrete curvelet transformation

Palm-dorsal vein recognition using Uniform Discrete Curvelet Transform (UDCT) was proposed in this paper. With the palm-dorsal Region Of Interest (ROI) extraction and image preprocessing, UDCT of the curvelet Transform was used on ROI. Then, the curvelet coefficients phase variance was encoded. Finally, the Chi-square distance of histogram of the coding was used for vein recognition. The experimental results show that this proposed method can identify palm-dorsal vein images with high robustness and high speed even with poor-quality images.

Research of recognition on handwritten Chinese character based on procedure neural networks

The topological property among stroke segments was analyzed. Image of handwritten Chinese character is transformed to geometric graphics, and the graphics was composed of some styles of Chinese character strokes with fault tolerance in different positions. Procedure neural network was applied to extract complex strokes of handwritten Chinese character. The style, number and number of joint and crossover of complex strokes were accumulated, and a kind of characteristic knowledge database table of handwritten Chinese characters was constructed. Handwritten Chinese character in SCUT-IRAC-HCCLIB were tested, and this method can simplify the recognition process, as well as has a high recognition rate.
